About life

I never quite know what to talk about, and I lost most interest in talking about myself these days. I try to be a bit of a better villager in on- and offline life, if there even is anything as much as a distinction in between. Mostly, I yearn for balance that I’m also refusing myself because I have internalised notions of not deserving rest until the work is done (and the work will never be done.)

Very in season right now

Reading

random pick from the painfully small science fiction section of my local library - lovely for the trips to work. Older Science Fiction has this habit to contain so much of it’s own time that it feels historical in it's own sense, even as it looks ahead to some alternative future.

In my attempt to read more complex books, this one is more than sufficiently complex (and dense, too - this one needs time, pen and paper despite being quite the small book)

As a stand-in for the whole blogging rabbit hole that I went down the past weekend. Also added this to my 101 essays to read list.
